Not a lot to talk about, but a couple of things worth mentioning since today’s a Friday Update! 😀

Once in a while I get IMs from readers, and I’m unfortunately not always immediately aware that they are readers, which is confusing. So I’ve put together an AIM account just for comic questions! You can send them to radiochio, which I’ll try to remember to keep logged in! I am not always the most talkative person but I figured I would give it a try. (You can also send questions anonymously through Formspring!)

Jumping on the irc bandwagon, I reserved #messengercomic at irc.mibbit.net. Not that I expect anyone to ever use it, but I’ve been a regular on Slightly Damned’s channel for the past year or so and if I’ve got one open, I might as well add another. Stop in, chat, whatever.

I’ve really knuckled down and forced myself to actually get some work done on the second book this week. I wanted to have it done a while ago, but then I got distracted and lazy. I’m almost entirely through the updated version of Chapter Two, and then all that’s really left is just drawing up the second bonus comic. I haven’t really touched the cover yet beyond inking the drawing I want to use for the front, but I have a pretty good idea as to what it’ll look like. Now if Ka-Blam and Indyplanet could just work out the problems they’ve been having with malware lately, all will be awesome. It’s really unfortunate, because I think their print quality is fantastic and I don’t want to wind up taking the book anywhere else since it really doesn’t need to be more expensive. Hopefully patience will pay off with this one.
