Hey readers! Hope everyone had a safe and happy 4th, whether you’re American or not. In case you missed it yesterday, the comic updated! I know it’s been a while, and I have plans in place to try and keep up with it despite my (lately maddening) work schedule.

In addition to that, I also made some changes to the site itself! There’s a whole new color scheme in place because the old orange background had been up for over a year and I was just tired of it. It’s time for something new. I also made some backend adjustments which will hopefully make everything load waaaay faster. So far, it seems to be working! Of course, if you spot something that’s seriously broken, please let me know about it!

That’s pretty much it for now. I’m going to have some exciting new Messenger-related projects to reveal and talk about soon. Meanwhile, back to work!

I’ve been meaning to make this post for a while, but haven’t had a chance to get my life sorted. My job lately has been pretty stressful in addition to taking up most of my time, so I just haven’t had a chance to keep up with comics the way I want to. Sorry!

So the first announcement I have is that there won’t be any comics for the rest of June. (Although you’re welcome to contribute filler art!) Why? Because I want to spend the rest of the month rebuilding my buffer. It’s one of those things you don’t realize the importance of until you run out. I plan on putting together enough pages so I can make it through the rest of the summer without too much of a hiccup and free up some time for some other projects I’m working on, which you’ll hopefully see the results of by this fall.

The second announcement is that the comic is going to be 8 years old this August! I’m kind of amazed and horrified by this. I’m not really planning any kind of contest or event, I just don’t have time to organize anything.

In short: Expect comics, but not just yet! Thanks for your patience!

Hey guys, just wanted to make a quick post to note that I’m not dead and I haven’t quit the comic. Things have been ridiculously busy at my real job and haven’t left me with a lot of free time. The busy period has burned right through my buffer, which I wasn’t expecting. I’m working on new pages and will be caught up soon! Thanks for your patience.
