Happy 2021! Contrary to popular belief, Messenger isn’t dead. (Well, I mean technically, that’s what they are in the comic, but Messenger the comic is still around.) Here are my plans for the coming year!

I’m planning to have the last bit of chapter 14 ready to go by early spring of this year. Life has derailed my progress on this comic so many times, and 2020 was probably the worst of it. But it’s 2021 now, so we’re going to get past that and finish. This. Chapter. Ugh. I’m going to post new pages to Patreon first (as usual) and I’m also planning to stream some of the work on them, so if you’d like to get an early look or just help the comic keep going, support Messenger on Patreon!

In other comic-related news, we’re running our first-ever Kickstarter this month! As part of Kickstarter’s Make 100, we’re making a batch of 100 enamel pins of Dia from Follower! If you need more Chio in your life, make sure to grab a pin. There are other rewards, too, like comic downloads and holographic stickers, so there’s something for everybody. If this Kickstarter goes well, it’ll help us figure out other Messenger-related projects for the future (Icy plush, anyone?) so give it a look or a share!
