First off, thanks to SJRM for the Canyon Chio art I’m featuring this week. I am just sorry it took me as long to get it posted.

Although Messenger has been on an unplanned break for some time, I am planning to begin posting pages again on the week of July 16th, along with the start of Chapter 2 of Follower! Things have been sort of challenging in real life with my job — it’s really hard most days to work on creative work all day, and then come home and have any energy left to put into comics, so that’s part of the reason I’m taking this break. I am doing my best, though! Working on Messenger and Follower is really important to me personally, so I have no intention of giving up until the end. It’s time for me to collect my Chios and get rolling on new comics again.

If you’re not caught up on Follower, the next two weeks would be a great time to check out the archive!

Having a bit of a problem. My buffer of pages ran out before I could get more ready and uploaded. This is due to a number of factors, including my recent move and the fact that I don’t have a real internet connection yet. I was all set to scan the new stuff and upload it using some half-baked plan involving my iPhone (which is surprisingly satisfying in this currently internetless house!) except for one small problem.

I can’t remember where I packed the new pages. 😐

They’re here, and I’ll find them, but most things aren’t settled just yet due to a number of ridiculous issues, but they’ll be up soon! I’m just declaring an unplanned two-week break, because nothing is really ready despite what I thought were well-laid plans.

So uh, anyone got any fanart or feel like making a silly guest strip I can post to fill in in the meantime? :B

Not much going on this week. I’ve been putting in a lot of comic work in my free time lately, so I’ve been taking a break for the past few days. I’ve been watching a lot of Futurama, which is a fantastic show. I love the robots. :B

There are new previews up in the members-only section of the forum for next week’s page.

The new incentive isn’t up because I’m just not ready. It’ll be up soon. I’ll twitter about it when it’s ready. In unrelated and pointless news, I drew some little link icons for the top of the right-side column so you can quickly link to stuff like Messenger at twitter and facebook. How useful!

Here’s hoping that everyone (who is an American) has a delicious Thanksgiving this week! I know I’m looking forward to it. :9
