Hooray, an update!

I realize I’ve been slipping in the updates department, and I apologize for that. I am keeping track of the number of pages I owe, and I will make up for them once I have a stable internet connection and a proper workspace again. Thank you for your patience, comic readers.

Additionally, I have a new vote incentive up on TWC! The old one had been up FOREVER, and I had been unable to change it for a while. It’s just a quick drawing, but I’m playing off the fact that it’s been FREEZING COLD where I am for quite some time now. Ahh, winter. Please take a second to give me a vote! ♥

I am playing around with advertising on the site. I’m a freelance graphic designer in my “real job,” and business has been mighty slow lately. I’m hoping the ads might help defray the cost of making a comic using markers and paint and all that fun stuff, and you know. Living. Etc. Also, I’ve been checking up on my site referrals lately and I just want to express my annoyance with the fact that the majority of my hits are coming from people trying to find the Eldora donation wallpaper for free. Come on, people! If you really want it, just donate $1 or something small. Trust me, you won’t find it via a search, anyway. Besides, I’m going to replace it with a new wallpaper soon, so this is your last chance to snag a copy before it’s gone!

So I’m still in the middle of this moving thing. Well, actually, I’m moved, there are just several other complicating factors involved. I had planned on getting some proper cover art up, but that didn’t work out properly since I hadn’t made it before moving and I don’t really have any workspace for things like that yet. So this latest page is just a placeholder for things to come.

Meanwhile, I’m working at uploading the other pages I’ve missed in the past few weeks. I found the folder I packed the comic originals in, set up a little scan station on the bed with my laptop, and set to work. Working on getting these things ready for upload this way is slow as molasses, but it works. The internet is just as slow for the most part, but it’ll have to do. I’m too annoyed with not updating when I have comics set to go.

Right now I have stuff prepared through the first few weeks of February, but hopefully everything will just be set up (like the internet, and my desk, and everything else) properly by then and it won’t even be a problem. Hopefully. I’m crossing my fingers.

Anyway, that’s all I have for now. Watch out for a handful of new pages in the next day or so as I get it all together, and if you have a chance, why not give me a vote? I’d really appreciate it!

Having a bit of a problem. My buffer of pages ran out before I could get more ready and uploaded. This is due to a number of factors, including my recent move and the fact that I don’t have a real internet connection yet. I was all set to scan the new stuff and upload it using some half-baked plan involving my iPhone (which is surprisingly satisfying in this currently internetless house!) except for one small problem.

I can’t remember where I packed the new pages. 😐

They’re here, and I’ll find them, but most things aren’t settled just yet due to a number of ridiculous issues, but they’ll be up soon! I’m just declaring an unplanned two-week break, because nothing is really ready despite what I thought were well-laid plans.

So uh, anyone got any fanart or feel like making a silly guest strip I can post to fill in in the meantime? :B
