Sorry for the delay, life got sort of busy for a bit! Three new pages to make up for the week and a half slip!

Among other things, I’ve been working a bit on laying out pages for Book 2. This is going to be a Chio book – focusing on the redone version of Chapter Two (which is what I’ve been working on) plus extra comics and other bits. The extra comics will be book exclusive, meaning they’ll never be published online, just like the extras in Book 1. I have a few ideas for those which I need to lay down and work at, but I’m trying to think of additional material to add on top of that. Since everyone seems to love the Chios, I’m pitching this question to any readers out there: what kind of extras on the Chios would you like to see? I had been thinking about expanding the backstory and physiology that’s up here on the site, but I’m not sure what else people would be interested in reading. Comments are appreciated, plus I’ll probably start a forum thread at some point. This is all still in the idea/sketch phase, so it’ll be some time before anything else is available. I’m also looking at switching printers, but that’s a whole other can of worms. :B

I have new vote incentive art I’ll be putting up in the next day or so, along with a cool new download type of thing. Fun times.

So my plan was to get my buffer ready and have another month of pages set to go, along with the usual Monday page, since I do them in batches to keep the colors consistent. Except, my weekend kind of got eaten up by a bunch of important things and I’m just not done with the backgrounds and I’m dead tired now, so it’ll have to wait. Things will be back together by Tuesday. I’m always afraid of losing all my readers once I slip up with an update since I went through that almost-a-year hiatus a couple of years ago, so I figure it’s at least worth making a note of. :X I just feel like crap about this because I haven’t missed an update in a long time. Life intervenes, sadly.

In the meantime, there’s a new general question & answer thread up on the forum that anyone can contribute to.

Or, there’s this formspring thing where you can ask questions in complete anonymity. Always a good time.

Page is up a whole 20 minutes late because I picked up my copy of Pokemon Heart Gold today and have spent entirely too much time with it. When I get to the point where I have a friend code, I’ll post it up for battles and trades because that’s awesome. :B

The forums are now back online; I tweaked a few things which I HOPE will keep the spambots at bay a little longer, but who knows. We’ll see.

Also, I’ve finally hit the end of my buffered pages so I have to remember to make time to rebuild it sometime this week. I’ve had three half-finished pages sitting on my drawing board for a while, so that’s a start. Hooray!
