Hey comic readers! Just a heads up. Messenger will be taking a mini hiatus for the next week or two, before coming back to its regular Saturday schedule.
Thanks for your continued readership and support, and if you want to see more of the next few pages before they’re finished and posted here, you can always subscribe to us on Patreon!
See you in a few weeks!
In the lead up to Messenger’s return this August, I’ve started posting new pages weekly for everyone on Patreon. If you pledge as little as $1, you can check out new stuff as it’s posted. I’ve also been streaming some work on the new pages on Mondays on Twitch – follow Radiochio for stream updates!
In other minor news, I added a new page for anyone who wants a quick refresher on the story so far without re-reading the entire archive. Check out The Story So Far!
You can also join in on the Discord to talk all things Messenger/Follower!
That’s all I’ve got for now. Thanks for reading!
Hello readers! This is a quick update to let you know about some changes to Messenger’s update schedule.
For the past few months, I’ve been dealing on and off with some wrist pain in my drawing hand that’s made completing pages on time pretty difficult. You have probably noticed this in the number of delayed and missed updates for the comic. I’ve attempted to continue drawing despite this issue but it’s becoming clear that I need to get better at giving my wrist a break, and the best way I can see to do that is to alter our update schedule a bit.
For the next 3-6 months, depending on how manageable my wrist pain is, Messenger/Follower will update on a sporadic schedule. I am undecided yet whether this means bi-weekly updates instead of weekly ones, or whether it’ll be a batch of new pages each month. Regardless, there will still be new pages – just fewer of them, temporarily.
This isn’t a change I’m making lightly, but for me it’s become a question of getting some comics done versus none at all. I’m planning to slowly work my way back up to a weekly schedule over time, and will come back better and stronger for it.
Thanks for your continued readership and support!
